Why Routine Eye Exams are Important
An annual eye exam is important to ensure your prescription glasses or contacts are up-to-date and comfortable.
A thorough eye examination not only checks for visual acuity for glasses or contacts, it also checks for eye health and screens for eye diseases.
Comprehensive Eye Exam
Includes: Full vision analysis including retinal photos and the following tests:
Color deficiency, depth perception, peripheral vision, glaucoma, and cataract screening.
You will receive a written prescription for glasses.
Dilation
Eye drops temporarily enlarge the pupil for an enhanced examination of intra-ocular and retinal health.
Spherical Contact Lens Exam
Includes: Comprehensive eye exam (above) plus examination for spherical contact lenses and three months of follow-up visits.
You will receive a written prescription for glasses and contact lenses.
Contact Lens Exam for Astigmatism or Multifocal or Monovision
Includes: Comprehensive eye exam (above) plus examination for special contact lenses such as astigmatism, multifocal, monovision, and three months of follow-up visits.
You will receive a written prescription for glasses and contact lenses.
Rigid Gas Permeable Lens Exam
Includes: Comprehensive eye exam (above) plus examination for rigid gas permeable lenses and three months of follow-up visits.
You will receive a written prescription for glasses and contact lenses.
Regular Medical Visit
Includes: Minor red eye evaluation and minor corneal evaluation. A written prescription for medication is given if deemed necessary.
Complicated Medical Visit
Includes: Acute red eye, corneal problems, evaluation of foreign body, etc. A written prescription for medication is given if deemed necessary.
LASIK Consultation
Includes: Comprehensive eye exam (above) to determine if you are a good candidate for vision correction, and pre-operative and post-operative care and co-management.
